Must read

Perfect for fans of crime novels with supernatural and mystery components. Highly recommended!!

Heaven banished him. Hell set him in motion. And mankind wants to destroy him.

Chasing Delight is a masterpiece of a mystery novel where a fallen angel is set out to corrupt mankind.

The Angel of Death raised a rebellion against God and failed. As punishment, he and the other fallen angels are sent to Earth to live among humans. In retaliation, he has challenged authorities for thousands of years with sinister games of murder.

Hannah Jane, daughter of Senator Hillcrest is kidnapped from her place and the FBI investigates the case. Senator Hillcrest brings in Jack Calloway, a private investigator specializing in finding missing and abducted children. Jack finds out that this is not the type of case he has dealt with before.

Jack is a man who has gone through many hardships in his life. He became my favorite character immediately. He is intelligent and impresses us every step of the way with his investigative abilities. Jack’s partner, in this case, is FBI Agent Harper Caster. We learn that this kidnapping is the latest in the many games Azrael, the Angel of Death has orchestrated for over four years. The chase becomes personal for both Harper and Jack in many ways.

The kidnapping case turns into Jack and Harper following the clues Azrael leaves in crime scenes. There are a series of murders that seem to be linked to an open case from years ago. Azrael takes them to various places with clues intricately planned and executed.

The story was thrilling to read. I loved the friendship between Jack and Harper throughout the story. Their conversations brought in a little cheer during gruesome and dire situations. Finding clues and deciphering them was exciting to read. The book had me engaged the entire time.

The plotline was incredible and unique. The whole journey was an exhilarating adventure with many twists and showdowns between good and evil. It was an intricately designed plot. The race to rescue Hannah before time runs out was impressive and action-packed.

The book was a roller coaster ride from start to finish. It is perfect for crime and mystery lovers.
