Overview

I can do one thing for you: optimize your bibliographic metadata.

It sounds tech-y, boring. Nerdier, perhaps, than your typical marketing tasks. And it is. But if your metadata is clean and compelling your book's page on retailer websites will be clean and compelling--and a clean, compelling site is easier to find. The trick, of course, is that your metadata needs to impress both people and computers (and the computers are harder!).

I'll clean up--or build from scratch--a blurb that will showcase your book's best qualities, and I'll create a set of keywords that will lead your audience right to you.

Metadata optimization is a quick and painless way to revitalize your backlist and a fundamental part of giving your new releases the best start possible.

Beautiful Metadata for Seven Fallen Feathers

We needed to create compelling and beautiful metadata for a compelling and important book. The updated metadata significantly impacted the Amazon sales ranking and gave more people the opportunity to find this important book.

Once again Amanda has worked her magic. I've always been super impressed by both her work, and her professionalism. She always communicates well, and keeps to timelines. And of course the end product is exactly what I want. I'm not the best when it comes to the metadata on books, and her work has been on point.
