Overview

“这是有意识的作者用t的特权heir innate will to master themselves so they may travel bravely inward, and intuitively know life’s deep, rich, hidden pathways … for out of this they may relay great Truths, create stunning Beauty, and above all, master their medium and express fine visions that better and transform the world.” —Marsha P., Note to Authors

玛莎P。invests deeply in the works of literary artists — those who value the intricacy, mechanics, and power of language, and the transformative force of the imagination; those dedicated to inspiring the world in some form — the visionary and the unique. Excellence in the development and completion of high-quality, profitable books is her focus, as well as advising creative professionals on their true vision as they establish or evolve their public careers. Marsha holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and has strong professional experience from ABC News, Council on Foreign Relations, Crain’s New York Business, Little, Brown and Company, Martha Stewart Living Television/Magazine, Time Inc., Thomson Reuters, Warner Books, and several other well-respected publishing houses, companies, and large nonprofits. She was the lead editor on well-crafted books on philosophy, spirituality, and art; for example, “Can’t Stop the Beat,” by internationally famous “goddess of the beat generation" poet/artist/playwright/actress, ruth weiss, and the Nautilus Book Award/Gold Medal-winning, “Sophia—The Feminine Face of God,” by Karen Speerstra.

Marsha recently spent three years editing 1050 pages of a new readable version of the Holy Bible, now published, and eight years editing workbooks and other written materials for a large, multi-site church (8000+ members) in the Northeast. She managed a popular 100-acre spiritual retreat center in Redding, CT — the former private estate of Maurice Pate, first executive director of UNICEF — living in isolation for three years in deep service, contemplation, and study. She was ultimately trained in self-mastery by two revered wisdom masters/teachers from China and Tibet, and monks and nuns from various spiritual backgrounds, throughout which she engaged in a long inner journey of transformation, learning what is needed to flourish in life, remove hidden obstacles, and how to navigate inward/outward searches for enlightenment, happiness, peace, and bliss in personal, art, and business worlds. These experiences flow harmoniously into Marsha’s vocation as a book editor specialized in life teachings. Her primary goal, with the book editing process, is to meet your authorial needs as you proceed to impart wisdom, knowledge, and inspiration to your readers, boost your publishing journey, and fulfill your vision for your book(s) and life’s work.

I highly, highly recommend choosing Marsha to work on your project. I am a first-time author and have no advanced education and very little knowledge when it comes to proper writing. I just knew I had a book within me, wrote it to the best of my ability, and let Marsha do the rest. Let me say, I was extremely impressed with her professionalism from the start, and even more impressed and gratefu...

Marsha is a top of the line editor. While not interfering with my style and tone as a writer she made syntactical adjustments to my narratives in keeping with my preferences. She is an excellent collaborator and gave me regular updates. and sage advice. Any success I have with my book will be due in large measure to the professional services I received from Marsha.
